lululemon Take Space

Breaking barriers between art, culture, and vulnerability

Bread partnered with lululemon to produce Take Space, a community-driven conversation exploring how masculine-identifying Africans access and experience wellness. Hosted by lululemon, the panel brought together Gyimah Gariba, Spencer Badu, and Elie to explore the intersection of creativity, culture, and vulnerability through personal storytelling and shared experience. Designed as an open and thoughtful gathering, the program created space for honest dialogue while highlighting new perspectives on wellness within the African creative community.
Community was at the heart of the Take Space experience. In collaboration with Gyimah Gariba, Bread developed custom tote bags that were gifted to each guest as a keepsake and creative extension of the program. The pieces reflected the spirit of the conversation and served as a tangible reminder of the experience beyond the event itself.

Take Space welcomed a sold-out audience of community members, press, and cultural tastemakers, with the conversation extending beyond the room through panelist networks and lululemon channels. The program reinforced lululemon’s commitment to inclusive storytelling and community-led wellness while positioning the brand within a meaningful cultural dialogue.
